Symphonic Stage Shows

It’s always an exciting challenge to have the opportunity to build a brand from the beginning. This helps to ensure a seamless creative process, and allows the designer to keep the big picture in mind when establishing a brand identity. Working with Symphonic Stage Shows, a national classical music theater company led by Didi Balle and Marin Alsop, is an example of a just this sort of project.
Symphonic Stage Shows’ mission is to create, produce and package innovative orchestral programming to engage loyal patrons, inspire new audiences and enhance demographics. Their shows offer a new experience: Classical Music Theatre. We took this as inspiration to develop an identity that embodies a contemporary, progressive approach to classical music theater. The logo implies a strong sense of sound, movement and stage lighting. We chose an assertive color palette which is frequently employed in performing arts branding.

The customized CMS website allows the client easy access to update content on their site, including new shows, recent press and all the latest marketing information. We chose bold, vibrant photography and featured large images on many pages throughout the site. All of these elements, from branding to the final website design, contribute to an aesthetically-appealing, user-friendly experience.
