M+F is excited to show off our latest website project for McDevitt Creative — an agency based in Kansas City with over 20 years experience in advertising, marketing, television, and video production. Minimal content, a simple grid-based layout, and utilization of font generating tools contributed to a fast turnaround for the client.

The orange, gray, and black color palette against the clean, white background gives the design a modern a feel and leaves a bold impression. The grid is consistent throughout the website, creating a seamless experience for the user, coupled with an easy-to-navigate links header. We’re always stressing the importance of social media to our clients, and like many others we’ve made the social media links prominent on the home page.

There are different ways to showcase videos online, and for this particular project, simplicity was the way to go. This resulted in a TV & Video landing page where you could see the entire portfolio of videos and view any video in a lightbox — with only one click. We wanted the user to be able to see what the client had to offer without too much jumping around. This pop-up effect became the best solution, and works beautifully with the rest of the layout.
